According to the Official Dispatch, the General Department of Preventive Medicine requests Departments of Health of provinces and cities to direct relevant authorities to implement anti-covid measures for inbound passengers as follows:
- Strictly implement directions, guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and control for inbound passengers such as Official Telegram No. 416/CD-TTg dated May 13, 2022; Official Dispatch No. 2118/BYT-DP dated April 26, 2022 and Official Dispatch No. 2213/BYT-DP dated April 29, 2022.
- Continue to maintain supervision, early detection and investigate and promptly handle COVID-19 clusters (Especially new and abnormal clusters (in terms of scope, rate of spread, number of cases, rate of severe cases, deaths and new variant, etc.) related to inbound passengers.)
- Proactively update COVID-19 information and carry out communication about COVID-19 prevention and control according to current Covid-19 situation.
Note: Communication at border checkpoints may be carried out in various forms and languages that are suitable for locals and specific type of border checkpoint.
