Circular No. 09/2022/TT-BNNPTNT has added several new points:
- In case of agreement between the Department of Animal Health of Vietnam and competent authorities of exporting countries on the Certificates of Animal Quarantine or E-Animal Products, Certificates of E-Quarantine shall be used.
- African Swine Fever has been added to the list of diseases subject to testing for animals.
- Amendments to certain forms of Circular No. 25/2016/TT-BNNPTNT on the quarantine of animals and terrestrial animal products (amended by Circular No. 35/2018/TT-BNNPTNT).
- Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam also stipulates that applications for registration and declaration of quarantine submitted before the effective date of this Circular shall comply with regulations of laws at the time of application submission.
Circular No. 09/2022/TT-BNNPTNT comes into force as of October 6, 2022.
