According to the Decree, information about e-identity of an individuals or organization includes:
(1) An e-identity of a Vietnamese citizen consists of:
- Personal information:
+ Personal ID number;
+ Last name, middle name and first name;
+ Date of birth;
+ Sex.
- Biometric information:
+ Portrait photo;
+ Fingerprints.
(2) An e-identity of a foreigner consists of:
- Personal information:
+ The foreigner’s ID number;
+ Last name, middle name and first name;
+ Date of birth;
+ Sex.
+ Nationality;
+ Number, date of issue, type and place of issue of the foreigner’s passport or international travel document.
- Biometric information:
+ Portrait photo;
+ Fingerprints.
(3) An e-identity of an organization consists of:
- E-ID code of the organization.
- The organization’s name including Vietnamese name, short name (if any) and a foreign language name (if any).
- Date of establishment.
- Address of headquarters.
- Personal ID number or foreigner’s ID number; last name, middle name and first name of the leader or legal representative of the organization.
Decree No. 59/2022/ND-CP comes into force from October 20, 2022.
