Enterprises paying social insurance at least 03 months behind schedule to be inspected in Vietnam

This is the content in Official Dispatch No. 3511/BHXH-TST dated November 18, 2022 on solutions for reducing late payment of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance premiums in the last months of 2022, promulgated by Vietnam Social Security.

According to the Official Dispatch, in order to minimize late payment, Vietnam Social Security requests Directors of social security agencies of provinces or central-affiliated cities to:

- Disclose on mass media enterprises which fail to pay or punctually pay large amounts of social insurance premiums for a prolonged period;

- Organize meetings with enterprises paying social insurance premiums late to such enterprises to fully pay the arrears and avoid incurring new debts;

- Inspect enterprises that pay social insurance premiums at least 03 months behind schedule and impose administrative penalties for all violations;

For units that fail to comply or intentionally delay complying with decisions on administrative penalties that have been issued, a decision to enforce the implementation of these decisions under their competence as prescribed in Clause 44 Article 1 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations revised in 2020 shall be promulgated.

Improve the quality of inspectorates. Heads of provincial social security agency, heads of inspectorates are responsible before the General Director for the results of inspection and handling of violations of the inspected enterprises according to regulations.
