According to the Circular, security staff of agencies and enterprises may be issued with combat gears according to Clause 3 Article 9 of Circular No. 17/2018/TT-BCA, including:
- The security staff of agencies, organizations, enterprises, and security service enterprises may be issued with the following combat gears: electric batons, metal batons, rubber batons, armors, and cut-resistant gloves;
- The security staff of agencies, organizations, enterprises, and security service enterprises shall consider the nature and implementation requirement of security tasks when performing security tasks at state agencies or important political, economic, diplomatic, scientific, technical, cultural, or social objectives on trains or at banks, hospitals, etc., to issue the following combat gears:
Tasers, guns that shoot blanks, rubber bullets, tear gas, and ammunition for such guns; tear gas vehicles; electric batons, metal batons, rubber batons, armors, and cut-resistant gloves;
- Regarding security staff of agencies, organizations, and enterprises performing security tasks at zoos; scientific research and experiment forests; wildlife sanctuaries may be issued with the following combat gears: anesthetic guns, electric batons, metal batons, rubber batons, armors, and cut-resistant gloves.
Circular No. 67/2022/TT-BCA comes into force as of February 15, 2023.
