According to the Official Dispatch No.
9472/BYT-MT of the Ministry of Health, regarding implementation of the Resolution No.
128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021, below are the instructions for medical quarantine and health monitoring of people arriving from epidemically-hit areas:
- Those fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (presenting the green pass on the electronic health record application or the certificate of full vaccination issued by competent authorities) or getting recovered from COVID-19 within 6 months till the date of their arrival (presenting the certificate of hospital discharge or recovery from COVID-19) must:
+ self-monitor their health at home or accommodations within 07 days from the date of their arrival, and strictly comply with “5K message” rules;
+ have SARS-CoV-2 tests on the first day after arrival;
+ If there are any abnormal medical conditions such as cough, fever, breathing difficulty, etc., then they must notify the health authority for their supervision and response actions according to regulations.
- Those that have not received a full dose of COVID-19 vaccine must
be quarantined at home and places of residence until 07 days after the date of their arrival; continue to self-monitor their health in the next 7 days and always comply with 5K Message; be tested for SARS-CoV-2 on the first and seventh day after arrival.
- Those who have not been vaccinated yet must be quarantined until 14 days after arrival; continue to self-monitor their health in the next 14 days and strictly comply with 5K Message; be tested for SARS-CoV-2 on the first, seventh and fourteenth day after arrival.
